Sampah plastik akan paling banyak disumbangkan dari botol minuman yang kita konsumsi. Sangat wajar, karena kita butuh banyak cairan ketika melakukan aktivitas wisata. Paling tidak dua botol air mineral ukuran sedang dibutuhkan selama perjalanan. Bagi yang sangat suka dan sangat butuh minum, apalagi jika destinasinya pantai dan tempat yang sangat panas, kebutuhannya bisa mencapai dua botol air mineral ukuran besar! Nah, coba saja kalikan berapa sampah plastik yang akan dihasilkan. Jika dalam satu kelompok tour terdapat lima orang, dimana setiap orang menyumbang-mengkonsumsi minimal dua botol air mineral per hari, lalu kita kalikan dengan jumlah hari berwisata (misal: lima hari), maka hasilnya … 50 botol plastik!
