- Siwalima Museum
Siwalima Museum is located on Makmur Park Area, Amahusu Village, Nusaniwe District, Kota Ambon City, Maluku Province. This museum was established in 1973 and is filled with relics and historic objects. An extra this museum provides is that it is located on a hill facing the bay of Ambon providing a superb view. The word “Siwalima” is formed from two words taken from the history of the kingdoms that once existed in Maluku. The word “Siwa” means nine meaning the collection of nine kingdoms in the southern Maluku and the word “Lima” means five is taken from Patalima which is derived from a collection of five kingdoms in the northern Maluku.
- The Fort Amsterdam
The Fort Amsterdam is located in Hila, Ambon . Amsterdam fortress built by the Dutch in the early 17th century, when the spice trade began to be implemented in Ambon. This fortress is located not far from the Old Church Hila. Amsterdam is building a fortress built by the Dutch in Ambon, after Kasteel van Verre. The fort was built after Vereenigde Oost Indische Compagnie (VOC) was founded in the Netherlands by Heeren Zeventien. A historian and observer of nature who works for the German nation soldier named George Everhard Rumphius Holland has lived in this castle in the period 1660 – 1670, and wrote a book about the flora and fauna of Ambon. Amsterdam fortress was renovated in 1993. Amsterdam is an old fortress that has been building for hundreds of years, and became inseparable from the history of VOC control in Ambon. This fortress is located on the beach is very quiet and beautiful.
- Liang Beach
Liang beach, is located in Liang village, Salahutu sub-district, Central Maluku regency, Maluku Province. It is located 40 Kilometers from Ambon city. Liang village is accessible by land transportation, it is about 30 minutes from downtown of Ambon.During your visit to Liang Beach tourism object, you will enjoy the soft white sand. - Ternate Sultanate and Museum
The Sultan of Ternate Kedaton Museum is the center to discover the splendor of the royal legacy of the Sultanate of Ternate. Located in the Village of Sao Sio, Ternate District, North Maluku, the Sultan of Ternate Kedaton Memorial Museum displays a large collection of objects from the Sultanate of Ternate era and throughout the time of the arrival of the Europeans in Maluku since the 15th century onward. Entrance to the museum is free for all who wish to view the collection. The building was erected in 1813 by Sultan Muhammad Ali as a palace for the Sultan. Designed by a Chinese architect, it is structured in the shape of an octagon and covers an area of 1500 square meters. The building sits atop a hill of lime trees which is shaped like a lion couchant, his face towards the sea and his back to the majestic Mount Gamalama.
- Tolire Lake
Tolire Lake is located at the foot of Mount Gamalama, the highest volcano in North Maluku. The lake itself is composed of two sections which locals call Tolire Large and Small Tolire. The distance between them is about 200 meters.Tolire Large and Small Tolire, according to local stories, was once a village where people live in prosperity. This village was then cursed into a lake by a master of the universe, because one of the fathers in the village impregnated his own daughter. Great Tolire is believed to be the father and Small Tolire is believed to be a girl.
